For beach lovers, it doesn’t get much better than the gleaming white, quartz-sand coast and emerald-green waters of Mexico Beach 20 miles southeast of Panama City on Florida’s Northwest Coast.
Dubbed the “Unforgettable Coast,” the Mexico Beach area offers endless varieties of saltwater fun from fishing to parasailing, access to pristine natural areas, and a boatload stellar restaurants. Watch the famous Gulf sunsets, relax on the uncrowded beaches and look for shells, explore the parks, and dive shipwrecks and reefs.
Start your culinary adventures with a morning stop at Caribbean Coffee & Cafe, located within a row of the brightly colored coastal cottages along U.S. 98, across the street from the beach.
